Thanksgiving and Forgiveness, two habits that bring joy and peace into the holidays. To glorify God as God and being thankful, brings illumination to our hearts.

Thanksgiving is completion to faith and causing us to abound in faith. I shared on Sunday “The Power of Thanksgiving,” a message that many said lifted their holidays into joy and peace.

Forgiveness is the second blessing in our life—the authority to forgive. Jesus said, “If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” John 20:23

  • Forgiveness removes the burdens of debts owed, real or unreal, known or unknown.
  • Forgiveness brings freedom, freedom to the one forgiving, the one being forgiven, and forgiveness from God.
  • Forgiveness removes the responsibility off us, to bring change, and gives it to God. We can love, accept, and enjoy family.

Let’s forgive everyone before we gather and thank God for them. Forgiveness releases the debts, thanksgiving grace, and glorifying God brings light and love into our hearts to enjoy and share.

May you have the most wonderful Thanksgiving in Christ.
