“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

This Wednesday night begins our Champion’s Conference. The imagery that the Lord has been revealing to us, is one of the transformation of the believer to glorification.
In Hebrews 4:11-13, we read what the Word of God does:
Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
The “rest” spoken of in verse 11 is from our own striving, ability and works. Remember in Revelations 10:9, where the angel said to eat the book and it would make John’s stomach bitter, but it would be as sweet as honey in his mouth? This is metamorphosis. This is the living word of God—It’s attractive, empowering, and glorious but also cutting…”Sharper than a two-edged sword.” It is dividing my soul and spirit, and my joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intents of my own heart.
The word of God not only discerns who God is, and who we are in Christ, but it discerns who we are presently in this life, how we are acting and what our mindset is right now.
We receive revelation in a second…but we have to go through transformation so our mindset changes. This is so we stop thinking from the old mindset, the man-centered gospel, to a new transformed mindset based on God’s intentions.
So the word of God is bringing an intentional metamorphosis, a partaking of the nature of God. Come in the midst of your process as we discover, and experience together, the glorification of His bride.
